When Trent & Ashleigh emailed me about photographing their wedding in Bathurst I was pretty excited. I’d never photographed at BoxGrove before so I was keen to experience a new venue. Now that I have shot there, I’m as equally keen to go back!
In the morning, they both got ready not far from one another which always makes it convenient and easy for me to photograph the preparations without feeling under pressure. I was able to bounce back and forth and not miss anything.
The rain started just as we went into the reception which luckily didn’t have much of an impact on the day. It did provide an opportunity for a fun night-time rain shot though! One of my favourite moments from the day would have to be the looks on Trent & Ash’s faces when they were announced as bride and groom, just before they walked ran back down the aisle.
